IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF MOUNT CARMEL CHURCH

Mount Carmel church is now closed for refurbishment until Friday 23rd March (approximately) and all Masses and other services will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church.

Sunday Mass times will be as follows: 

Saturday            5.00 p.m.  (Vigil Mass)

Sunday               8.30 a.m.

11.30 a.m.

                                          2.45 p.m. - Polish Mass     

  6.00 p.m.

Weekday Programme: Monday-Saturday, Morning Prayer 9.10 a.m., Mass 9.30 a.m. 

Exposition and Confessions: Saturday 10.00-11.00 a.m. (in the vestry at St George’s). 

Please note: No Tuesday evening Mass during the closure. 

Polish Mass: Wednesday and Friday 4.00 p.m.

Parking is limited at St George’s so please park at Mount Carmel and walk if you are able to do so.

The Parish Office will be open as usual 10.00 a.m.-5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday, and the priests will be available at the Presbytery as at present. 

All existing rotas for readers, ministers, flowers, cleaning etc. will continue at St George’s.  All parish meetings, classes etc. will continue to be held in the parish centre unless announced otherwise.

Baptisms will be held at St George’s immediately following the 11.30 a.m. Sunday Mass.  Baptisms can also take place, on request, at the other parish Mass centres.
